HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR STORIES AND
PICTURES
STEP 1 Get out the shoebox where your old Southeast Asia snapshots or slides are stored. Look them over and see if they bring back memories from the recesses of your 25 to 35 year old memory cells.
STEP 2 Sit down at your computer, typewriter or desk with a pencil and paper and write out a story or two. If you cant do any of the above, let us know and well even arrange to take your oral story over the telephone. Youll get full credit for your story in the book. Start your story with the following heading, which will stay with your story until we are ready to go to press:
File Name: (example: 5-68 Doe-1) This is important, the first numbers are the approximate month and year when the story took place, next is your last name, then a dash and number of this story, first, second, third and so on. In the example, the story took place May 1968 and was submitted by a FAC named Doe and it is his first story
